ReplyDeleteI watched a documentary a few weeks ago where a class of children were divided into 2 and 50% of them were given a protein rich breakfast. The other 50% were given sugar-rich cereals.
ReplyDeleteOver the course of 1 month, results showed children given protein-rich breakfast not only performed better in school but were in general more alert and responsive.
It may be easier to reach for the cereal box but since seeing that program I try to provide my child with a good breakfast at least 3 times a week.
